Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery (CJMIS) - Your New Friend

Sponsored by Peking University and published by Peking University Third Hospital, Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery (CJMIS) is an academic periodical reporting the up-to- date Minimally Invasive Surgery developments and academic communication in China and abroad. This monthly periodical started its publication in 2001, publishing about 40 articles related to minimally invasive surgery each month.
In 2004, this journal was included in the database of the Chinese Core Journal in Science and Technology with an impact factor of 0.47.
In 2010, statistics showed that among the 1946 core journals, CJMIS has an impact factor of 0.952 and a cited rate of 0.84 while among the 75 surgical journals, it ranked No.10 in terms of its impact factor and No. 11 in terms of its cited rate.
The present editor-in-chief of CJMIS is the Chinese prominent spinal surgery expert Professor Zhongqiang Chen and the vice editors-in-chief and committee members are a number of influ- ential experts in the minimally invasive surgery field. We also invited 17 academicians and senior experts as consultants of the journal, including academician Zhiqiang Huang, academi- cian Mengchao Wu and academician Zhaoyou Tang.
CJMIS endeavors to concentrate more on the study of minimal- ly invasive surgery theory and humanities,and the journal will improve its role in further academic communication with experts from other countries.
The First Sino-U.S. MultiSpecialty Minimally Invasive Surgery Forum will be held jointly by our journal and SLS. We would like to invite you to the forum and contribute your valuable ideas.
